Tom joined TCIRood in August 2007. He oversees all company operations, actively fostering a culture of excellence through enhanced customer service and comprehensive sales training initiatives. With over 40 years of experience in the landscape and irrigation industry in South Florida, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.

Prior to TCIRood, he spent 21 years at Seacrest Services, Inc., serving as President from 2000 to 2007. A respected leader in the business community, Tom is a former President of the Executives’ Association of the Palm Beaches, a prestigious network of 73 “Best in Class” companies. He was honored with the “Presidents Award” in 2006 for his significant contributions to this organization.

In addition to his roles in business, Tom has served as President of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce and of the Quantum House at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital. He is currently a member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Hobe Sound Community Chest and actively participates in Vistage. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Chris Shillington joined TCIRood in 2018 after graduating from Ohio Christian University with a degree in business. Joining TCIRood led him back to his hometown, where he grew up gardening the pristine grounds of Jupiter Island during his middle and high school summers.

Chris is an active member of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA), where he has earned both his Florida Certified Horticulture Professional (FCHP) and Florida Certified Landscape Maintenance Technician (FCLMT) credentials—demonstrating his commitment to industry best practices and professional excellence.

Over the years, Chris’s dedication and growth within the company earned him a promotion to Maintenance Manager in 2021. In the fall of 2022, he was honored to be appointed Director of Gardening Services, a role in which he oversees a team of client representatives who manage full-service gardens and ensure exceptional service and client satisfaction.

Andrew joined TCIRood in 2016, bringing a strong foundation in irrigation installation and a deep-rooted connection to the South Florida landscape. Born and raised in Hobe Sound, he developed a hands-on understanding of the region’s unique horticultural environment early on.

He holds a bachelor’s degree with a double major in business and government, and he is an active member of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA) as well as the Irrigation Association. His credentials include the FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professional and Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) certifications, along with specialized training in HDPE systems—demonstrating his commitment to quality, innovation, and industry best practices.

After joining the irrigation team, he quickly advanced by managing out-of-town projects, including a revamp on a large estate in Nevis and the world-renowned World Equestrian Center in Ocala. His leadership and versatility earned him a transition into managing landscape installations, and eventually, a promotion to Director of Construction Services. In this role, he oversees estimating, landscape and irrigation installation, and the seamless handoff to gardening services. He has also directed efforts within the company’s golf division.

He is passionate about matching the right team members with the right projects to ensure exceptional client outcomes. With a deep respect for the knowledge and craftsmanship of the field crews—many of whom have decades of experience—he believes TCIRood’s greatest asset is its people.

Chad Boissevain has been a vital member of TCIRood since 2002, bringing over 30 years of expertise in the Green Industry. He began his journey with the company as part of the installation team and quickly transitioned into a service technician role. His dedication and technical skill earned him a promotion to Lead Service Technician, where he oversaw irrigation services for the Abacoa communities in Jupiter, FL.

Chad’s continued commitment to excellence led to his advancement to Service Manager, and ultimately to his current role as Director of Irrigation Services. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing all facets of irrigation operations, ensuring top-tier service delivery and project execution.

With roots in his family’s landscaping and garden center, Chad developed an early passion for sustainable landscaping practices. He has become a recognized leader in water conservation, focusing on the implementation of advanced irrigation technologies, including smart controllers, web-based monitoring systems, micro-irrigation, and subsurface drip systems.

Chad is also deeply involved in the professional development of his team. He leads training initiatives and client education efforts on central control monitoring systems, fostering a culture of sustainability and innovation across the company.
